1 Year on a Bicycle; Traveling Around Indonesia

"Happy new life", "Congratulations, may your marriage last forever, Sakina Mavadda and Romah family" and other congratulations continued to come from the people who attended our wedding.

We had our wedding last November 22, 2015 (this is the reason why there are no new posts on this blog in November, because we are busy paying attention to this wedding, halahhhh, sorry hehe ...)

Of course, some close friends, people who know us well, have already begun to doubt that there will be another crazy plan after our wedding. Imagine that the two founders of Goweswisata finally got married, reunited in the saints, they both love to travel and ride bikes, and then the result ... :)

For us, these words and the words "happy new life" are a turning point to start a new life, a life that flows in accordance with the system we use, not the life we want, the lives of others. how we should live according to their version.

Finally, the idea of going on a cycling adventure through Indonesia for a year came to the fore. Yes, this year’s long cycling adventure while traveling in Indonesia has finally opened the door to our new life, and this travel blog has been a step towards growing in the future.

I'm sure many readers are wondering why we definitely chose this lifestyle (or even doubt our minds, hehe ...), to keep it good, simple, I'll try to break the pattern with the following Answers to explain (question and answer):

Question: “I congratulate you in advance on your marriage, but I would like to ask whether the idea of this one-year bicycle adventure was a spontaneous idea or was it your long-term plan? How long have you had this idea? »

To whom: "Thanks for your words, okay, I'm explaining here the idea of riding a bike for 1 year while traveling to Indonesia?" A new idea, I can't remember exactly when the idea came up, but the idea first came up and crystallized when we started switching from XC bikes to tour bikes, especially after we started testing the bike camp. Since then, our cycling has been just a slow one-day journey, starting with a multi-day ride and finally starting to think and feel. Because commitment governs us after we return home and before we come home. At night, as if planning a 1-day trip, this sense of freedom also makes the creation process on this blog smoother (we have already started filming each trip) and makes it more optimal where it is restored after a tiring trip. .

Question: "How did you plan to distribute the budget for this trip?"

Re: “The budget factor is a really common question for anyone who knows the purpose of this visit. Many people think that in order to start a tour or a trip, we must first make sure that we have our own budget, this assumption is not completely wrong, but on this site only those who are financially secure can tour or travel, and those who want to travel but have limited funds Say, "Wow, you're definitely on a budget. Considering you’re both on this trip, it’s really big, the budget automatically doubles (those who don’t travel) and both need to eat right? For some very expensive places, we have also prepared them, brought our own oven and kitchen set, so we can just buy the main ingredients from traditional markets and cook them ourselves (just like those who do not travel). -Travelers), we also brought a tent for living, and according to our experience so far, there was help from God only through "extended extensions", ie a host who kindly invited us or took us on vacation, as well as many other places of rest. there were B. Filling stations gr and PMI: We do not use the fuel budget automatically as we use the car because we use a bicycle for the transition or transportation costs, we can use the fuel budget we do not use for the bluemaya transition, listurikah arianbultian arianbulian listuran karianparagun arrival, PDAM and phone (because we don't use the whole budget properly when we travel? Especially since we used to only rent a house). So, in fact, the size of our budget is the same as the budget for events and routine for non-travelers, the difference is that every day we see new sights, all, hehe ...

Interesting adventures are ready for action

Q: Yes, yes, in other words, can anyone engage in such activities?

Answer: Yes, one day we want to try it in public: if the budget comes out to wait until it is big enough, how long will you do it? after reaching the "sufficient" limit, always the second, third, and so on. There is a "enough" limit, remember that you can increase it enough with your budget, but your endurance and physical ability will also decrease, so if you have anything, it's best to do it now when you still have a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
Many people claim that they cannot work due to financial and time reasons (due to overwork), but even if all these factors are not met (money and free time), they still do not work and are busy finding a reason. for fear of stepping out of their comfort zone, the fear of stepping out of a familiar environment into a new environment that is still unfamiliar is natural, but when it is excessive, it will keep us from growing up.

Q: Speaking of fear, were you scared before embarking on this journey?

Answer: To be honest, we are still afraid, because we do not know what the conditions, situations and relief of the track will be in the future, but we do not allow this fear to prevent us from trying. To do this, but instead, we take a vigilant and vigilant approach to better prepare for and anticipate all the worst opportunities. This fear is actually needed to make our plans more detailed

Question: What factors made you go on this journey?

Answer: The most important factor is freedom within us, and if you read the history of human civilization from the past to the present, many people since ancient times have been willing, even willing, to pay a high price for their freedom. In order to sacrifice themselves and to declare all their wealth only as the freedom of their souls, it is still the same. not really, because he will not work under stress when he feels free, he will not deprive himself of the rights of others (his brain is caught up in the expectations of others about how life will be), then he will be free to work with enthusiasm, he will always smile. Facial expression, speech will be filled with confidence, eyes will shine, because there is passion in it, because happiness is freedom of choice. Advice, call, warning, information, etc. It is important to listen to the words of others, but we must also be able to filter the positives and not allow the negatives to trap us, at least we must. Be honest about what you want to choose and live

Question: Why did you decide to go on this trip by bicycle? Why not use other modes of transport, such as cars or motorcycles?

Pros: We chose to ride a bike, because cycling has taught us so much in life after so many years of activity. On the bike, we can see the details of our next trip, interact with the people and communities we meet on the bike, feel the same wind blowing with them, feel the warmth of the trees, the earth and the sun. ... we don’t feel the same feeling when using a car or a bus, because it is limited to window panes and travel details that run counter to the speed of motor vehicles. Cycling allows us to better recognize the contours of a road where the inclination is tiring or frightening us, and restores our confidence in our natural human abilities as we believe in our ability to pedal and walk. By believing in people's natural abilities, we believe in our ability to pedal and kick, to catch, to adapt to our ability to think, to think fast, and to choose which direction we should move. factors such as road conditions, weather, people and their culture. There were similar things that prompted us to use bicycles for this trip (also because it is easier to provide all our equipment on a bicycle, of course, than to walk).

Q: Do you use a specially designed bike for this trip?

Answer: I don't know if we are sure if riding our bike is fun, because as long as we are comfortable with it, it is enough. We made only a few adjustments to this car, for example: B. In addition to the front and rear struts, the rest had regular adjustments and maintenance. My bike is around 130,000 rupees, I bought it from a used bike website, and I also bought my wife's bike for 350,000 rupees from an ad on the website. We are only talking about the additional cost of replacing the repainted Beberrus part in Sudan

Q: Was this visit useful for other parties?

Who: Alhamdulillah, since we published this route, there are several stakeholders supporting this journey and adventure, some have supported it since the beginning of this blog, some have read the original concept of the travel blog, provided the necessary equipment and various other collaboration systems after Nature and View and interview agreed to support this visit, in which case I also want to thank them (#sulepbicicleasdonanniers atdoors #kerinsanya #Kerinsanya)

Q: What will be the concept of this travel story?

Answer: This trip is not just about cycling, bicycles are just a mode of transport for both of us. There are several stories about bicycles, but they are not the only target. If site conditions do not allow us to bring bicycles there, we park the bikes and put them back. We will continue to explore places that support bicycles, it is true, we park and leave them, then we move, we explore the place, we support the bike (when the bike is brought to the ground), it will be the main focus. is a concept, but it turns out that these are life stories that inspire ordinary people, the uniqueness of places that others consider ordinary seems unusual, but unusual in the eyes of people. newcomers, different treatments, experiences that we hope to increase our spiritual side in relation to the Creator, courage for everyone we are under economic and social conditions, confidence and motivation to dream big. ta and socialah, Semak's story Semak's book is a story about life, I hope it can inspire you all to dare to make decisions and live life by realizing these dreams, because nothing is impossible in this world. Those who say this is impossible only show their limitations and strengths, not yours, so rest assured and have the courage to live your dream.

Q: Well, now I understand the concept of a one-year trip to Indonesia, thank you for taking the time to respond to our interests. Keep up the good work, I hope you will consistently spread and encourage this beloved country, Greater Indonesia.

To whom: Welcome, thank you for explaining the concept of this visit in detail with questions and answers. I hope our answers are clear and useful.

Until you meet on your next adventure, if you see both of us on the road, don't hesitate to say hello :)
